1. Acceptance
By accessing the Playout Studio TV website, requesting a Demo, creating an account, or purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software or related services.

2. The product
Playout Studio TV is Windows broadcast-automation software for TV channels, production companies, and professional operators. You receive a license to use it; you do not purchase ownership of the source code.
The software may integrate with third-party tools (for example vMix or OBS). Those products have their own licenses; you must hold them lawfully.
3. Licenses (Annual, Full, Premium, and Demo)
- 1 license = 1 machine. The license is bound to the PC (machine fingerprint) where it is activated.
- Annual license: use during the stated term; renewable. Includes software updates while valid.
- Full license: lifetime use with no expiry. Does not include new software updates (you may purchase Premium).
- Premium license: lifetime use and free updates when published.
- Demo: limited evaluation period (e.g. 7 days) with usage limits. One Demo per email and machine; not renewable as a Demo.
After purchase or issuance you receive an ID, KEY and/or My account access for download and install. Keep those credentials secure.
4. Allowed use and restrictions
You may install and use the software only on the bound machine for lawful broadcast or production purposes. You must not, among other things:
- Share, resell, rent, or sublicense the license or keys.
- Bypass online validation, machine binding, Demo limits, or plan-based update controls.
- Decompile, modify, or redistribute the software except where mandatory law allows.
- Use the service in a way that harms infrastructure, security, or third parties.
5. Updates and support
Software updates are provided by plan: Premium (while active), Annual/Demo while valid, and Full only if that license retains update rights (e.g. prior purchases). Updating does not reset or void a valid license on the same machine. Support is via Contact / My account.
6. Payments and taxes
Published prices may appear in CLP or another currency depending on the sales channel. In Chile, if you request an invoice, VAT may apply as configured. Outside Chile, international purchases may be arranged or processed via third-party payment providers under their own terms.
You are responsible for applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.
7. Availability and limitations
The software and license validation may require Internet access. We do not guarantee 100% uninterrupted service. Compatibility depends on hardware, OS, and third-party software (vMix, OBS, drivers, etc.). We recommend testing with the Demo before purchasing.
8. Intellectual property
Playout Studio TV, its brand, code, documentation, and site materials belong to the rights holder. No rights are granted beyond the license described.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or broadcast interruption. Aggregate liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the license in the twelve (12) months before the claim, except for mandatory consumer protections.
10. Territory and governing law
These Terms govern use of the software and website worldwide (Chile and abroad). Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the laws of the Republic of Chile apply and courts in Santiago, Chile, without prejudice to non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by publishing the current version on this page. Continued use of the site or later purchases means acceptance of the published version.
